Excuse me for being quite MIA lately, ya girl’s been LIVING! About a month ago the winter plague finally caught up to me and I had a cold that knocked me down for about a week. Since then it has been really hard for me to gain my motivation and inspiration again but I feel it inching closer. I have plans to start a YouTube channel, there are so many things I want to talk about and products I want to share with you all, as well as interview some people in my life who inspire me in different ways. Big things in the works but not something I want to jump in to without proper planning. Oh and last week I got a new puppy, her name is Chloe and she is a miniature long haired dachshund.
A few weeks ago I finally took the plunge and launched my handmade jewelry line on Etsy. Honestly I haven’t been promoting it at all because I wanted to work on getting better photos of the products. Through the whole process I have gained even more respect for product photographers because it’s really hard. I was outside in the sun trying to hold the bracelets at a certain angle and snap the photo with my other hand, it was a mess but I did what I could. In the future I plan to work on getting better photos up of my products, but for now gimmmmme a break okay? Just know, they are beautiful in person and I am very proud of what I’ve created. There are no details that have gone unnoticed all the way down to the packaging. 🤗
Growing up I was always doing something crafty whether it was painting, sewing, crocheting, or making jewelry. I love jewelry and I love healing crystals so I put them together and this was the outcome. One of my professors in college said this “some people get stuck in the nowhere between two somewheres” and for some reason this quote always stuck with me, however, you may interpret it differently than me. It reminds me of my past, one chapter ending another beginning but not forgetting the time in between. Currently, I am in between dreams; I know where I’ve come from but I’m not sure where I’m headed next. In Between Dreams Designs represents this, it also represents the gratitude I have for my grandmother and aunt who encouraged me to create as a child.
